Business Transformation

Turn strategic ambition into meaningful change.

Overview

We help organisations rethink how they operate, from operating models and processes to organisation design and transformation programmes.

Most organisations know what they want to become. The harder part is redesigning how the business works to get there without stalling the day job.

We help leadership teams decide what must change, design the operating model, processes and structure to support it, and mobilise the programme that delivers it. One team carries the work from design into delivery, so nothing is lost or redone between phases.

Draft

(Context)

Signs the business has outgrown how it runs.

  • Decisions queue at the top because nobody else is sure they can make them.
  • Each branch, region or business unit does the same work a different way.
  • Management information arrives too late, or in too many versions, to act on.
  • Growth adds cost and complexity faster than it adds revenue.
  • Change programmes start with energy and stall within months.

(How we help)

What business transformation covers.

Transformation Strategy

Define the case for change, the scope and the outcomes the transformation must deliver. We work with the leadership team to agree what success looks like and what the organisation will stop doing, so the programme has a clear mandate from the start.

Operating Model Design

Design how the business runs: who does what, where decisions are made, how work flows between teams and how performance is managed. The result is an operating model sized for where the business is going, not where it has been.

Process Transformation

Map, simplify and standardise the processes that slow the business down, from order-to-cash to month-end close. We map processes as they really run, find root causes and design future processes with the people who will use them.

Organisation Design

Shape structures, roles and spans of control around the work that matters most. We design organisations that make accountability clear and reduce the hand-offs that create delay.

Transformation Roadmaps

Sequence initiatives by value, dependency and readiness so change lands in the right order. A good roadmap shows leadership what happens when, what it depends on and how progress will be measured.

Programme Mobilisation

Set up the governance, team and rhythm that keep a transformation on track: a programme office, clear owners, a reporting cadence and the decisions each forum is there to make.

(Transformation Blueprint)

What you receive.

Define what should change, how it should work and how implementation should be sequenced. The result is a decision and implementation pack that leadership can use directly to mobilise delivery.

  • Current-state diagnostic
  • Future-state process maps
  • Business and functional requirements
  • Technology blueprint
  • Solution selection criteria
  • Prioritisation and business case
  • Change and adoption plan
  • Implementation roadmap and KPI framework
How we work

Questions we help leaders answer.

(Key questions) Draft

  1. Is your operating model built for where the business is going, or where it has been?
1 — 3

(How we work)

Define. Transform. Accelerate.

  1. 01Define

    Get clear on what matters.

We diagnose the challenge, identify the opportunity and establish the strategic choices required to move forward.

  2. 02Transform

    Design what needs to change.

We translate strategy into practical changes across the organisation, from customers and processes to operating models, technology and ways of working.

  3. 03Accelerate

    Turn ambition into action.

We help mobilise the organisation, establish momentum and translate the transformation into measurable outcomes.

(Questions)

Frequently asked questions.

What is an operating model?
An operating model describes how a business turns its strategy into day-to-day work: its structure, decision rights, processes, technology, people and how performance is managed. Redesigning it is often the core of a transformation.
How long does a business transformation take?
It depends on scope. A Transformation Blueprint, which defines what should change and how to sequence it, is a focused piece of work measured in weeks. Implementation is planned and priced once the Blueprint confirms the solution and timeline.
Do we need to pause business as usual?
No. Transformation should be sequenced so the business keeps running. We plan around peak periods and involve staff in short, focused sessions rather than taking them away from their work for long stretches.
How is the work priced?
The Blueprint is scoped and priced as a defined piece of work. Implementation is priced once the Blueprint has confirmed the solution, integrations, data migration and timeline, so the estimate rests on facts rather than assumptions.
